India’s Test batters are reeling from a double blow. Star players Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul are out of the 2nd Test at Vizag. Both got injuries in the 1st Test match. Jadeja strained his hamstring running a single in Hyderabad. Rahul has a sore quad.
Replacement players were called up from the India A team. Sarfaraz Khan finally got India call after smashing a huge 161 for the India A team. Saurabh Kumar got selected for his bowling figure of 5 wickets in that match. All-rounder Washington Sundar is also joining the squad.
Avesh Khan is on standby and currently travelling with his Ranji team.
