India posted 326 runs for 5 wickets on the scoreboard on the first day of the 3rd Test at Rajkot. Ravindra Jadeja was playing on 110 and Kuldeep Yadav on 1 run at stumps. The first day of the Test was quite eventful and fans saw 2 centuries, one half-century, and 5 wickets falling. Indian Captain Rohit Sharma played brilliantly and scored his 11th Test century. Debutant Sarfaraz Khan scored a half-century.

India opted to bat after winning the toss. They didn’t have a good start and lost 3 wickets on just 33 runs. Shubman Gill was dismissed on a duck (0). Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rajat Patidar scored only 10 and 5 runs respectively. Then Rohit & Jadeja made a partnership of 204 runs. Both the batters scored their centuries. Ravindra Jadeja also completed 3000 runs in Test cricket.

India is playing in the 3rd Test without some big players like Virat Kohli & KL Rahul. So far both India & England have won one Test match. England won the first Test match. India won the second Test match at Vizag. Both teams would want to win this match to get a lead in the series. Let’s see what happens next in this exciting Test match.
