India won the Rajkot Test by 434 runs, took 2-1 lead

India defeated England by 434 runs in the 3rd Test match at Rajkot. India now has a 2-1 lead in the five-match Test Series. This victory is the biggest Test victory in the Indian Test history. The next Test match is scheduled to be played in Ranchi from 23rd February.

India had a lead of 322 runs at the end of 3rd day. India resumed their second innings on the fourth day. Yashasvi Jaiswal again showed his superior batting ability and scored a double-century. He scored an unbeaten 214 runs. Shubman Gill played well but missed his century. He made 91 runs on 151 balls. Sarfaraz again showed his class and scored another fifty on his debut Test match. He remained unbeaten on 68 runs. India declared their innings on 430 runs and gave a massive target of 557 runs.

England’s batting order collapsed under the pressure of this huge target. Ravindra Jadeja unleashed carnage and picked up 5 wickets. England were all out on 122 runs. England lost the match by 434 runs. Ravindra Jadeja became the player of the match for his 7 wickets and 131 runs in the match.
