India reached U19 World Cup Finals

India has reached the final of the Under-19 World Cup by defeating host South Africa by 2 wickets. India qualified for this tournament for the ninth time. On February 11, India will be facing the victor of the second semi-final in the final. Pakistan will face Australia for the second semi-final on 8 February.

On Tuesday at Benoni ground, South African batted first and scored 244 runs for 7 wickets in 50 overs. Luan-Dre Pretorius (76 runs) and Richard Seletswain (64 runs) scored half-centuries. Raj Limbani took three wickets and Musheer Khan got two wickets.

171 Runs Partnership by Sachin Dhas & Uday Saharan

India lost early wickets in chasing a target of 245 runs. India had lost 4 wickets for 32 runs. Then Sachin Dhas (96 runs) and captain Uday Saharan (81 runs) made a partnership of 171 runs for the 5th wicket. They played an important role in this run chase. India scored 245 runs by losing 8 wickets in 48.5 overs. 

Captain Uday Saharan (81 runs) was the player of the match. Let’s see whether Team India lifts the World Cup Trophy once more on February 11.
