In reply, CSK could score only 191 runs after losing 7 wickets. The match went to the last over but MS Dhoni, Shardul Thakur, and Ravindra Jadeja could score only 7 runs in the end. Rachin Ravindra scored a half-century for Chennai. He scored 61 runs on 37 balls. Ravindra Jadeja scored an unbeaten 42 runs. Yash Dayal got two wickets for RCB. Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green, Mohammed Siraj, and Lockie Ferguson got 1 wicket each. Captain Faf du Plessis became the Player of the Match.
